Best Krig C loadout and class build in Black Ops 6

The best Krig C loadout in Black Ops 6 results in the sort of assault rifle build you can use to replace your go-to jack-of-all-trades guns, whether you’re using the XM4, the AMES 85, or another of the numerous mid-range weapons on offer.

Introduced at the start of Season 1 alongside the Saug, the Krig C may seem fairly basic at first glance, but in action it deals an impressive amount of damage, and the recoil is more than manageable. In other words, you simply want to kit it out to excel at mid-range, which is fairly easy to do, especially with the Gunfighter wildcard. It’s also good enough be considered one of the best guns in the game at the time of writing, especially thanks to how controllable the recoil pattern is to begin with.

Here’s the best Krig C loadout in Black Ops 6, the best class to use with the gun, and how to unlock the Krig C in Season 1.

How to unlock the Krig C in Black Ops 6

To unlock the Krig C in Black Ops 6 Season 1, you must complete page six of the battle pass. Since Black Ops 6 has discarded the tile-based battle pass system seen in Modern Warfare 3, you don’t need to worry about taking the correct path anymore, but you do need to spend enough tokens to get to the right page of the battle pass. Since the Krig C is unlocked by completing the sixth page, you need to spend a total of 29 tokens altogether: 22 to unlock page six, then another seven to complete it and get your hands on the gun.

Here’s the best Krig C loadout in Black Ops 6:

  • Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
  • Optic: Accu-Spot Ultra Holo (Gunfighter)
  • Magazine: Extended Mag I (Gunfighter)
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip (Gunfighter)

As mentioned, the base version of the Krig C without any attachments whatsoever is already a fairly robust gun that deals decent damage and has manageable recoil, so the aim with this build is to accentuate its best qualities. The Ported Compensator buffs both the first shot and vertical recoil control, while the Long Barrel is essential for buffing the damage range. As is usually the case, you won’t be engaging at distances where the bullet velocity will come into play, so it’s a better option than the Reinforced or Gain-Twist Barrels.

Where the Ported Compensator helps with vertical recoil, the Vertical Foregrip helps make the horizontal recoil more manageable, and the Heavy Stock increases your flinch resistance. Finally, the Recoil Springs do exactly what you’d expect: Both the vertical and horizontal recoil is improved.

We’d recommend running the Gunfighter wildcard, so if you do, the three additional attachments we’d recommend are any form of optical sight (our choice is the Accu-Spot Ultra Holo) alongside an Extended Mag to ensure you can fire for longer before needing to reload. Then the Quickdraw Grip can come in clutch when you need to react to an enemy appearing out of nowhere.

Here’s the best class to use with the Krig C in Black Ops 6:

  • Pistol: Grekhova
  • Melee: Knife
  • Tactical: Flashbang
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System
  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Tracker
  • Perk 3: Cold-Blooded
  • Specialty: Recon
  • Wildcard: Gunfighter

For a gun that is so jack-of-all-trades, you need a fairly standard class to go alongside it. The Grekhova is a worthy sidearm because it’s fully automatic, so you can switch to it when needed for close quarters combat, while the Knife is the only worthwhile melee option. Flashbangs are always the best offensive tactical grenade option, and you can never go wrong with a Semtex in the lethal slot.

For the field upgrade, the Trophy System is a great choice, as it destroys any incoming throwables, and in this instance where you won’t have Tac Mask or Flak Jacket, it’s a big help. Despite the minor nerf to blue perks, Recon is still incredibly powerful, as it gives you x-ray vision upon respawning. Ghost ensures you’re invisible to enemy UAV and radar effects, Tracker allows you to see enemy footsteps and auto-pings enemies when aiming at them, while Cold-Blooded prevents AI targeting from spotting you.

If you don’t fancy running Gunfighter, we’d recommend Perk Greed instead. This way, you can use Flak Jacket, Tac Mask, Ninja, Fast Hands, or any other top tier perk.
